In 2011, major South Korean television network, KBS, aired in Korea a one-hour documentary special on K-Pop (Korean pop music). KBS interviewed Bennett Media Studio founder Ed Bennett in his home, asking him about his thoughts on the rising genre and its potential here in the United States. His comments can be found near the end of the documentary around the 51:56 mark.
On September 28, 2012 our guests and audience had a special night with the TECH SERI.ES guest speaker and panelists here at Bennett Media Studio. Our owner Mr. Edward Bennett had an insightful and inspiring Q & A session with the moderator Jay Wadley, musician and composer, Co-founder of Found Objects Music, together with the attendees.

Who is TechSeri.es?
The TechSeri.es (TM) was founded in the summer of 2011 with the purpose to become a platform to introduce the latest cutting-edge technology and people changing traditional industries;create new networks with people from different backgrounds, mindsets and expertise levels; and provide exclusive access to top names in the industry.
I hosted a wine tasting and a private dinner here at Bennett Media Studio on April 26th, 2011. This event was co-produced by DailyFoodandWine.com and featured wine connoisseur, Alex Elman. She has also created some extraordinary wines. You can see her web site HERE.
Although blind, she has tremendous experience and credentials as an executive in the wine business (Perrier-Jouët Champagne in Epernay, and Sherry Lehman in NY). She now imports small production, hand crafted, artisan wines to the U.S and has her own label of wines. Elman’s wines are honest, focusing on the sustainability of the vineyards where they are produced, as well as truly representing the wine’s terroir.
Today, she travels the world with Hanley, her seeing eye dog, in order to find the best wines that the earth has to offer. Hanley is a good sniffer, but stays away from the wine. Good dog.
For this event, we limited it to 30 people who have a keen interest in wine. Most were press people, wine bloggers, and just wine imbibers ( like me) to mix it up and taste some nice wines. We will be doing some future Video for the wine blog, and a posting here at BMS Studios. This may become a monthly series, particularly during the summer when we can go outdoors on the terrace and eat/BBQ/ and enjoy the early evening weather.

As reports of the Michael Jackson incident reached a peak, Fox TV Network interviewed me live ( Primetime) for one of their shows. This day the events happened quickly. I received the call at noon to come to the studio for the Prime Time Show airing at 7pm. With little time to prepare, I went off to the studio and got "wired" for sound, and then onto the set. The interview was rewarding, as I had a chance to recall my Michael Jackson Days when I was President and CEO of VH-1, the music and lifestyle TV network.
Here's a bootleg video of me getting wired in the studio before I went on-air.
